You see, big companies commission market researchers to make surveys and get the information they need.  They pay well for this info. There is enough budget to pay participants too, and make legitimate paid online surveys.  But many survey makers figure they can use smoke, mirrors and promises instead of cash and save money!

It's possible for them to get away with that because of the tremendous influx of new people on the Internet, looking for some way to get involved. The cheapskate survey makers pay recruitment commissions to anyone who can send these new people to them.

Promoters throw up websites, promise the moon, offer "free lists" of survey makers that you can sign up with for free, and "newbie" beginners fall into their traps. They sign up with scores of cheapskate survey makers and, of course, they make little or no money while the promoters get fat on the recruitment fees!
